Barefoot Kitchen Southern Cornbread Dressing w/Caribbean Rum BBQ Drizzle (Baked Method)

Ingredients

  • 6 Cups crumbled cornbread (day-old preferred)
  • 1 Cup celery, diced
  • 1 Cup onion, diced
  • 2 Tbl butter
  • 2 Cups chicken broth (add more as needed)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp black pepper
  • 1/2-3/4 Cups of Barefoot Kitchen Caribbean Spiced Rum BBQ Sauce (warmed for drizzling)

Cooking Directions

  • Preheat oven 375 Degrees F
  • Saute celery and onion in butter until soft
  • In a large bowl, combine cornbread, celery, onion, salt, pepper, eggs and broth (add more broth if needed to reach a moist but not soggy texture)
  • Spread mixture into a greased baking dish and bake 35-45 minutes until golden brown
  • Drizzle with warmed Barefoot Kitchen Caribbean BBQ Sauce before serving
