Barefoot Kitchen Honey Roasted Barbecue Sauce Pulled Pork Sliders (Slow Cooker)

Ingredients

  • 1 Bottle of Barefoot Kitchen Honey Roasted Barbecue Sauce
  • 4 Lb Pork Shoulder Roast
  • 1 Tbl Olive Oil
  • ½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ½ Cup Chicken Broth
  • ¼ Cup Honey
  • 1 Tbl Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Tbl Chili Powder
  • 1 ½ Tsp Dried Thyme
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
  • 1 Large Onion – Chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Slider Buns or Hamburger Buns

Cooking Directions

  • Pour oil into Slow Cooker
  • Slightly season Pork Roast with Salt and Pepper and place in Slow Cooker
  • Stir together 1 Cup BBQ Sauce, ½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar and ½ Cup Chicken Broth together
  • Pour this mixture over Pork Roast
  • Stir in Honey, Mustard, Chili Powder, Onion, Garlic and Thyme
  • Cook on High 5 Hrs (or Low 10-12 Hrs) until pork shreds easily
  • Remove Pork Roast and Shred
  • Serve on Bun adding more BBQ Sauce for Great Flavor
