Cooking Directions
- Marinate chicken: In a bowl or zip-top bag, combine chicken, Barefoot Kitchen Tequila Lime Fajita Marinade, olive oil, smoked paprika, salt and pepper
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes (2-4 hours for max flavor)
- Grill or pan-sear chicken over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes per side, unti fully cooked and slightly charred on the edges
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly or chop into bite-size pieces
- Heat corn tortillas directly over a gas flame or in a dry skillet until they get a little char and become flexible
Assemble Tacos:
- Layer shredded cabbage, then chicken, then diced avocado, onion, and cilantro
- Drizzle with the creamy tequila lime sauce or add a sprinkle of cheese
- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice
