Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Lean steak or chicken cut into strips
  • 1 Bottle of Barefoot Kitchen Tequilla Lime Fajita & Brisket Marinade
  • 1 Tbl Chopped cilantro
  • 2 Tbl Olive or Avocado Oil
  • 1 Lrg onion cut into strips
  • 1 green or red bell pepper cut into strips
  • 2 Limes, quartered
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 Flour tortillas
  • Salsa

Cooking Directions

  • In Large zip lock baggie, place steak or chicken strips into Barefoot Kitchen Tequilla Lime Fajita Marinade and refrigerate for 30 Mins to 4 hrs
  • Heat 1 Tbl oil in Large skillet over Med-High heat
  • Cook Steak (to desired temp) or chicken (Internal temp 165-degrees F) 
  • Remove meat and set aside
  • Add remaining oil and onions to skillet and cook over med-low heat until done
  • Add bell peppers and meat to skillet
  • Squeeze lime juice over ingredients in skillet and stir
  • When bell peppers become tender remove from heat
  • Warm flour tortillas
  • Fill tortilla with meat mixture, salt and pepper to taste
  • Serve with your favorite Salsa (sour cream and guacamole)

Note for Steak: Rare 120-degrees F, Med-Rare 130-degrees F, Med 140-degrees F, Med-Well 150-degrees F, Well 160-degrees F
